As part of its activities especially in WP2, AREANA was actively involved in organizing AERODAYS 2025, a major European aviation research conference scheduled for May 7–9, 2025, in Warsaw, Poland. This event coincided with the Polish presidency of the Council of the European Union.
AREANA’s participation at the event included:
WP1 Synergy Session: AREANA, in collaboration with CINEA and the Clean Aviation and SESAR Joint Undertakings, presented its current results, including the newly introduced Memorandum of Understanding on creating synergies in European aviation research.
WP3 Support to AZEA Showcasing Innovation in Zero Emission Aviation: The conference featured discussions on new propulsion systems, non-CO₂ and NOₓ emissions, digitalization, and circularity in aviation, aligning with AREANA’s objectives to support AZEA’s focus on hydrogen technology and its readiness in the aviation sector.
AREANA’s involvement in AERODAYS 2025 underscores its commitment to fostering a sustainable and competitive European aviation industry especially presenting findings on hydrogen and electric aviation technologies and fostering discussions on achieving zero-emission aviation.
